Why Be A Member? / Membership Dues / Membership Application The benefits and services extended to you as a member of our Chamber are far reaching, diverse, and centered upon improving your business and the business climate of the North Channel community. Membership in the Chamber provides a number of advantages for your business. We have monthly luncheons which give you and/or other members of your firm an opportunity to get acquainted with our membership. You will be introduced at the first luncheon you attend as a new member, and given a chance to speak briefly about your company. Our Business-After-Hours programs are held at various host businesses once each quarter of the year. This gives our members additional opportunities to meet and develop networking relationships with one another in a fun, social setting. These events are free to members and guests. Ribbon cuttings are held for new members who desire one, and a picture of the event will be published in our montly newsletter, the Navigator, which is distributed to all our members. Pictures and/or mention of the ribbon cutting as well as being listed as a new member provide you with some very good free publicity. Your business would also be listed in our Chamber directory, which many of our members use a their primary business phone book. There are inexpensive advertising opportunities available only to Chamber members, such as ads in the Navigator, and advertising flyers which are mailed monthly by the Chamber to a targeted are both of these methods are reported, by members who have used them, to be highly effective advertising tools. Yearly investments are completely tax deductible as a business expense, and after the initial investment (which must be in full) may be billed annually or semi-annually for your convenience.
